Puppy Pic for Caitlin

Caitlin Chocolate Factory

If I had a chocolate factory I would have never ending chocolate. I would have a chocolate stairway and a ginger bread slide out the back. A marshmellow bed, a piece of chocolate for the blanket and a lolly for the pillow. I would make a ginger bread man, a chocolate icecream and a caramel cake, but only if I had a factory.

By Caitlin

I want a chocolate factory!

If  I  had  a  chocolate  factory... I would have a caramel water fall and a house that had a chocolate machine gun that shoots out caramel balls and every time someone visits I would shoot caramel balls in the air and then chocolate would fall off the roof and land in their mouths. Then they would go into the spa pool and relax until they feel thirsty and then they drink all the caramel in the factory. They would invent a jelly boat, jelly boots and a bubble gum tree and never ending chocolate and I would give out nine golden tickets.

By Luke

Annabels Chocolate Factory

If I had a chocolate factory... I would have chocolate wall paper and I would have chocolate for every meal. Who ever came to my chocolate factory would have how many pieces of chocolate they would like. I would like oompa loompas and a chocolate river with 9 lilos in it and 6 slides out the back and 2000 rooms and a very very long hall way and I would sell a crunchy horse made out of chocolate. I would sell a million plus a million chocolate bars a day. I would eat 6 bars a meal so that it means I would eat eighteen bars a day. I would have a lolly bed and never ending chocolate. I would have a hole lot of chewing gum. I would have two pink boats and two green boats.

Charlottes Chocolate Factory

If  I  had  a   chocolate   factory...   I   would   have   a   garden   and   you  could   eat   anything  you  want  even   the  grass.  I    would    have  a   chocolate   river  and  a  pink   boat   with   two   statues  one  in  the  front   and  one  at  the  back  and  they  would  be  shaped   like  mermaid. Did  you  know  there would be a tunnel made out of chocolate that would never melt and when you go in the lights would gleam at you. Guess what? You would go to the next room and I would call it the inventing room and I would invent bubble gum that never ends. Do you know how many rooms I would have? I would five hundred million rooms.

Chocolate Factory

If I had a chocolate factory... I would have lickable wall paper with chocolate chip buttons for the little teensy weensy dots on the wall paper. I would have a chocolate machine gun to shoot chocolate ducks and the bullets will be chocolate chips. My bed will have a ton of gummy bears for the sheets and a chocolate marshmellow with moro in them. My factory will have a river and the biggest chocolate water fountain in the whole entire planet. It will have a big big chocolate waterfall and a big chocolate water slide and never ending chocolate and a house that is chocolate that is bigger than a century.

By Sean

Chocolate Factory

If I had a chocolate factory ...I would have a chocolate machine gun and by the chocolate steel gates would stand chocolate guards and when you stepped into my chocolate factory you would fall into a chocolate water slide and I would have chocolate grenades. I would have a jelly tree and bubble gum boat and lickable wall paper and if you drew a picture on it it would taste like it.

Our Singing

Miss Cowan taught us a silly song that we are excellent at singing! Here are the lyrics so you can practice at home!

When Mr Clicketty Cane, plays a silly game, all the kids in the street, they like to do the same:

Wash your face in orange juice
Wash your face in orange juice

When Mr Clicketty Cane, plays a silly game, all the kids in the street, they like to do the same:

Wash your face in orange juice
Wash your face in orange juice
 clean your teeth with bubblegum
clean your teeth with bubblegum

When Mr Clicketty Cane, plays a silly game, all the kids in the street, they like to do the same:

Wash your face in orange juice
Wash your face in orange juice
clean your teeth with bubblegum
clean your teeth with bubblegum
fix the fence with sticky tape
fix the fence with sticky tape

When Mr Clicketty Cane, plays a silly game, all the kids in the street, they like to do the same

Wash your face in orange juice

fix the fence with sticky tape

brush your hair with a toothbrush
brush your hair with a toothbrush

Mothers Day Poems

We wrote some lovely mothers day stories to give to our Mums for mothers day, here are some wee gems...

The thing I love about my Mum is that she coached my hockey team. I also love her because she always gets me big birthday presents. She always bakes very yum ginger slice for me and Olive and she cared about me when I fractured my arm.

Tim

I love my Mum because she is kind and friendly to our class and she is good at baking with Amber. My Mum is special because she gives me love and hugs every day.

Alice S

When I go to rugby practices my Mum comes to see me. We sometimes win but mostly we lose, but my Mum still cheers me on. When my Mum gives me a kiss when I go to bed she tucks me in. When I was a baby my Mum took a photo of me with my teddies and she hung it up in my room.

Luke

I love my Mum because she cares about me and makes me giggle a lot. I love her so much that I could eat her all up yum yum yum. The most special thing about my Mum is that she loves me.

Emerald

My Mum is pretty
She is clever
She reads to me
She gives me a kiss but I think it’s yuck
But I still love her anyway

Rebecca

The Colossal Squid

Miss Cowan has been teaching us about the colossal squid! We watched this video clip, be warned it is pretty gross...

We wrote some great colossal squid adventures and Miss Cowan wrote us a poem...

There once lived a colossal squid named Benny
He wasn’t scary, in fact he was quite friendly
He lived down in the ocean deep
This was where he liked to sleep
He hunted with his light bulb eyes
He ate fish rather than pies
He had eight arms for which he used to hug his Mum
His funnel propelled him and was also his bum
His brain was donut shaped with a hole in the middle
When he had a bite of food it had to be little
This was because his throat went through his brain
Sometime he thought that was a bit of a pain
He used his black beak to tear up dinner
He thought his tentacles were a real winner
He used them to swipe and grab his food
He always swum around in the nude
He had to hide from hungry sperm whales
If they tried to eat him he’d attack their tales
He had some friends named Trudy and Jake
They were both a type of snake
His feeling were hurt when people thought wrongly
That he was a giant squid whom he disliked strongly
People would say he was a bad guy
For attacking ships, this was a lie
But life to Benny was pretty super
For he was a real trooper
He loved him Mum and Dad forever
And to him they were more precious than treasure
So when you meet a colossal squid as lovely as this
Don’t ignore him for you will miss
The chance to make a wonderful new friend
And he’ll stick with you till the end.
(Don’t worry about it too much he shouldn’t live longer than three years)

We made a big book with all our wonderful stories and pictures in them and would love you to come and read it in our room

If you want to find out more about the squid or make your own this is the website to visit...

Apple Pies

We have been learning about apples, part of our project was learning about different ways we can work with apples. Apple pies seemed like a great thing to make. We had a blast and especially enjoyed the delicious results!
