Well done Rachel! That was fantastic that your Mum and Dad and little sister Sophie were there at Assembly to see you receive your reward.  You have a fantastic attitude in class.  Way to go Rachel!

We  have been busy doing sewing with Nick's Nana Lorraine and George's Granny Jan.

Mr. O'keeffe came to speak to us at Assembly at the end of Week 2.  Here he is on stage helping Mr Bremer to

 give out awards.   Harriet won an Ipod for selling the most chocolates in our Fund raising competition.  Way to go Harriet

         We made scones on Friday with Mr Wright.  They were yum.  We all made 1 each in our own little bowl.  We even made butter out of cream to spread on them.

All the Ginger Beer is bottled now.  4 Bottles  from Batch 1 and 9 bottles from Batch 2.  Cross fingers its going to be bubbly!

Clever Coltyn- Week 2 Term 2's Principal Award Recipient:

Congratulations Coltyn.  Well done - you certainly do deserve the Principal's award.  You are a great friend to everyone in our class.  You are  a very kind and helpful boy. Thanks for being such a cheerful Charlie in Room 1B.  Mrs Chapman and Mrs Mack couldn't manage without you.  We love how you have become so focused and keen to complete your work quickly and to a high standard.

Keep up this fantastic attitude! We are proud of you!

Clever Author - Robert Herring

My house is made of bumpy concrete.  My house colour is white, steel tiles cover my roof.  To get to my house you need to go up my stony driveway, go up the brick steps, across the bricky path and the tile steps...and there you go!

Look what's being going on in Room 1B the last few weeks!

Making Rocking Roosters with Mr Wright.

Sharing our writing with our Buddy.

We made yummy Easter Mice Muffins!

We used marshmallows and pebbles for  our ears, nose and mouth.

Here we are making our ginger beer bug.  Remember the recipe?  2 tsp ginger 2 tsp  sugar and 2 tsp yeast mixed into 150 mls warm water.

Look at all those people concentrating!

This is what it looked like when we mixed it.  Now we have to feed it 1tsp sugar and 1tsp of ginger for 7 days.  Then it will be time to bottle it!

Congratulations Rebecca on receiving the Principal's award this week.  Wasn't it fantastic that your grandma and little sister were able to be there at assembly to watch you getting your award.  We are very proud of you in Room 1B.
