Stepping Out Programme

We had our first lesson with Chris today about safe walking .  

She talked to us first about traffic and what we might see on the road.

 She told us about walking on the footpath safely. 


When we are going to cross the road she told us......

Walk up to the curb and then take one step back.
Take a long slow look to the left,right and then left again.  
If there is no approaching traffic then walk across the road carefully and briskly.  Checking as you go across the road.

A huge ENVY apple for the teacher

This was an enormous apple Mrs C was given to her by a kind little girl in her class.  It is at least 3 x the size of a normal apple.  It is an ENVY apple ...I'm so looking forward to cutting into this big beauty!
