Bob's Farewell

On Monday we had a very special day to celebrate our caretaker 'Mr Bob'.  
Bob loves his country and western singing - so we all dressed up in country and western clothes.  We all met for a special assembly to wish him farewell and thank him for all his hard work as our caretaker.  He has been on our staff for 23 years!

Ilona Girls

Last Friday some lovely Year 8 Ilona girls came to visit Room 1B and share with us some of their writing.  They have written their own novels all loosely based on the Cinderella theme.
Congratulations Girls.  We were impressed with your work! Mrs C loved seeing some of her old Havelock Primary girls from Rm 9. Issy,Sarah and Emmie-haven't you all grown into delightful young women. I must show Mrs Burrough she would be thrilled to see her old girls also.

Congratulations Aidan.  You received the Principal's award for Week 8.  Guess what Aidan, when I looked through my certificate book I noticed that you were the very first person in Room 1B to receive the Principal's award. NOW you have received it for a second time and it was our at our last assembly for 2012.FIRST and LAST assembly awards for 2012.  WELL DONE AIDAN!
